  1. 若い女性。『韻会』では「少女之号」とする。
  2. 女性。『新唐書』平陽公主伝では、女性ばかりの軍隊を「娘子軍」（じょうしぐん）といったという。
  3. 母親。『康煕字典』では「俗稱父曰爺，母曰娘。亦作耶孃。」といい、本来は俗語であった。
